WPF Diagrams 2.0 Release Notes
WPF Diagrams has been extensively revised in the 2.0 release, and it is therefore not appropriate to include a detailed list of individual changes and fixes. Major changes include:
- Added a high-level API to facilitate working with shape-and-line diagrams, and to provide a firmer base for developing custom diagram types
- Combined WPF Flow Diagrams and WPF Star Diagrams into WPF Diagrams product
- Some existing classes moved out of the Foundation namespace and into the root diagramming namespace
- Reworked the XML serialiser to make it easier to integrate custom data and custom node types
- Combined some formatting options (removing some template selectors from the IDiagramFormatter interface)
- Some changes to flow diagram node types
- Some breaking changes to the Flow Diagrams and Star Diagrams XML serialisation format
